Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on iOS in Hungary Q3 2021

During the third quarter of 2021, the performance of the top 5 carpooling and ridesharing apps on the iOS platform in Hungary showcased diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower reveals a detailed look at how these apps fared.

Bolt: Request a Ride showed a generally stable performance in weekly downloads, starting with approximately 1.2K downloads at the beginning of the quarter and peaking at around 1.9K in mid-August. Weekly active users saw a gradual increase from 3.1K to about 4K in August before stabilizing around 3.6K by the end of September.

Oszkar telekocsi experienced a slight rise in weekly downloads from around 300 in late June to a peak of 433 in early August. However, it saw a decline towards the end of the quarter, with downloads dropping to 210 by the last week of September.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a consistent download rate, starting at 230 and peaking at 356 in early August. The app also saw a steady increase in weekly active users, starting from 6.7K and reaching a high of 8.5K by mid-September, before slightly declining to 8.3K by the end of the month.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus had relatively modest download numbers, starting at 76 and peaking at 117 in mid-September. The app’s weekly active users showed a steady upward trend from 310 in late June to 419 by mid-September, stabilizing around 400 towards the end of the quarter.

Cabify had the lowest download numbers among the top 5, with weekly downloads ranging between 38 and 95. Despite this, the app's weekly active users grew from 101 in late June to a peak of 200 in mid-September, before dropping to 143 by the end of the quarter.
